The Strawberry Moon

In the past year, I have found myself becoming more and more drawn to nature and especially the different types of moons and solstices. I like the idea of  practicing moon rituals that were so sacred to native people who created them and turning inward to focus on how we can use the shift in the universe to manifest positive changes and growth in ourselves.

Yes, I realize these rituals *may* not have the capacity to actually change anything at all. It is my personal opinion that we as individuals have the strength and ability to manifest personal growth, I just like the idea of using something so beautiful and powerful, like the Moon, as a reinforcement or symbol to help create the change I wish to see in myself.

"The Strawberry Moon (also known as the Honey Moon, Mead Moon, or Full Rose Moon) got its name from the Algonquin tribes in eastern North America who saw it as a signal that it was time to harvest the wild strawberries in their landscape. More broadly, its proximity to the summer solstice (June 21) enhances the energy of personal development and achievement, like a "high point" in the astrological calendar."If you can dream it, you can do it. That is the message that the universe is beaming down on you right now, so absorb these positive vibes and activate your deepest desires and ambitions. It’s a time to let your daydreams totally off-leash and see where they take you. Don’t project your internal anxieties or doubts onto someone else–most importantly, yourself!
Where in the world do you most want to go? What do you most want to do? Even quickly journaling everything that immediately comes to mind can help you hone in on what you most care about, and take steps to pursue your wildest #goals." - suggestions from the internet (like my awesome citation skills?)

The Astrological Explanation Behind Love Triangles
A fun lil’ Strawberry Moon part-aaaaay might be just the way to fix this, though. Which signs are most impacted?

The four mutable star signs–Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo *me*, and Pisces–are likely to feel this Moon’s influence the most.

You're good at instigating change and handling life’s twists and turns, so use that gift to help others do the same.
Each of these signs emerge at the end, or changing, of a season (Gemini-Spring; Virgo- Summer; Sagittarius-Fall, Pisces-Winter.) As such, mutable signs are ALL about change. This can make them come across as inconsistent and uncommitted (very much me!), but also flexible and intuitive (also, me!). This moon speaks to their inner character, to the need and appetite for continual change. If you’re one of these signs, then use the super-charged vibes of the next day or so to clarify your biggest, wildest dreams and believe that they are NOT out of reach. -more words from the internet
