Opinions

If you look at social media you will see that so many people have opinions on just about everything. Some people just state their opinion...others will rant about how they are right and the other side is wrong. Some do it in a polite way and others do it in a really malicious way.

Sometimes people feel compelled to comment on others opinions...so supportive...so not.

What amazes me is that these posts are on “friends” and relatives pages. The arguments and ugly comments are from people you have put on your friends lists. This should make you think...

I’m all for having your own opinions...but I’m not for demeaning others for not sharing mine. For most of the things I see people be passionate about in social media...I really don’t have an opinion strong enough about it either way to want to debate it with you. And honestly...if they get no annoying with the posts...then I just remove them from my feed. If they post hatefulness...I unfriend them.

Just thoughts...

Until tomorrow...

HGB(sub female){Scottish M} - I unfriended everyone on Facebook. My feed is all funny and positive now.

Mama Bear JJ(dom female){koa} - I have found myself doing the same lately. My social media is associated with a business page, so I can't really respond with my personal account when I don't agree with certain things because I'd face blowback for my business whether I'm right or not (others aren't smart enough to refrain from doing it in the same situation lol). I'm grateful for that situation though, because It makes me do what everyone should do ... pause and take time to thing through what you are about to say before you say it. Posting things online in frustration or anger, or communicating in any way when you are in that state is never good. I have seen posts lately that, whether right or wrong, are promoting negativity and inciting others to do the same without thinking about the consequences. When that happens, I unfriend them ... and since I usually follow their business for what I do as well, I unlike it.

Lion(dom male){Hazel Eyes} - I got Facebook to keep in touch with family and friends, nice to know everyone was safe and doing well, comment on a cute picture. But when it became a place to voice your personal hate or ugliness about politics or people that you didn't agree with I simply deleted my account and I'm so much happier. Still keep in touch with my family and friends just do it the old fashioned way phone, text, or personal visit.
