A general pondering.

The term Alpha male comes to mind, unfortunatly many consider this to be agressive, assirtive and very much in your face. This is not what an Alpha male is, they take care and protect what it theres, they work hard to gain your trust and keep it.

There is a huge difference between the i controle you and i will protect you, one takes your submission the other you give to them to protect.

Its been a long time, it would be nice to feel protected, finding that person can take a while tho so the search continues

That is the bit i miss the most, feeling safe enough to fall asleep in someones arms.

Heart of Persephone(sub female) - Oh so true! An Alpha has no ego, they have nothing to prove to anyone by themselves, they are not boasting or overly prideful. An Alpha Dom can walk into a room and be noticed, does not demand his presence known. They are the most humble and kind. The sincerest, and have an understanding of their emotions. Their passions shine.

cosplayfan69(dom male) - Absolutely feel like im going against exactly what this post is saying alpha males are, but I feel like this describes me to a T, and I have always felt like an alpha male, but unfortunately upbringing and culture has caused most of my life to be me trying to bury being that man, bc culture and feminism and whatnot

rosethorn(sub female) - There is toxic and there is alpha, there is a difference between them, men do feel pressure to 'act like a man' which isn't helpful. FYI an alpha would support others and equal rights such as feminism... Its interesting when you look at alphas in packs of bonobos and chimps, there can be a 'bully' in the group but that is different to the Alpha.
