I have listened to this song by P!nk so many times before seeing the album Beautiful Trauma came out late last year {October 2017}. A few days ago P!nk released the Official Video for Secrets and for some reason the song struck a new cord with me.
Everybody has secrets sometimes they make us who we are.
I have always been one to keep secrets, whether my own or those of others. I’m the person most people confide in because I’m so good at keeping people’s secrets lol. I’ve been building walls my whole life hiding parts of myself that I knew would never be accepted in my world. Accepting and embracing this part of me {BDSM} has been nothing short of amazing but it’s still a secret I must keep. I’ve ask myself who do I tell? How would they react? Would they understand? Afraid of the answers I tell no one. How could being so free still feel like I’m trapped.
