My heart and head
Though my body's broken, my heart and mind works fine, that's all I guess I need to dream, to think that you are mine
My heart to push you around my veins, right from my very core, my mind to hold you in my dreams, who could ask for more
My heart to keep you close to me though your far away, my mind can bring you across the void, to share my dreams and play
Making love in my mind, my dreams they feel so real, my mind makes you vivid, my heart just let's me feel
My heart and mind together, creates a world in which I'm free, where being paralyzed means nothing, a perfect world for you and me
A world where we can share sometime, where my body works just fine, in a place I can be who I was and truly make you mine
So even though I'm broken, paralyzed laying on my bed, in my dreams all is well, within my heart and head
So I can't wait until I sleep, the world is mine to own, I will meet you in my dreams, then write of it on my phone
So each day I'll face my struggles, knowing soon will come the night, I'll be back to find you and my life will still feel alright
