If you're into wharton wheels, look instead for a leather stitch marker/pricker/poker/I forget exactly what it's called. Whatever its called, it IS a Wharton wheel. Looks, feels, functions exactly the same, but is usually cheaper.

My two little friends L.O.V.E.D making themselves bras with tacks for liners, by duct-taping them in, or maybe hot-gluing them. I didn't ask too many questions about it, because I was busy recoiling in horror; y'all pain-slugs* is crazy people.

Instead of buying special "sex ribbon" - whatever the fuck that is - go to michaels and get a spool of ribbon for a dollar or something.

Get a cheap table-runner for a blindfold.

Rubber bands for snapping or wrapping around things.

Aaanything is a dildo if you try hard enough.. And add a condom.

If it's for fashion instead of function, a dog collar is way cheaper than a BDSM collar. There are claims that a BDSM specific collar is safer for functional play, but I can't see a difference between a 1" straight strip of leather with a buckle on it, regardless of whom is the intended wearer. Exercise common sense people: don't use a chain choke collar on a human, but a SEVENTY FIVE DOLLAR strip of leather is the same thing as a twenty dollar one in my eyes.

If you're more into the fashion aspect than the function aspect, then wide, sturdy elastic intended to go in the waistbands of pants can by used to make harnessey-looking things, collars, cuffs, etc. As a bonus, it comes in 516592 colours and widths, so you're not restricted to your basics like badass black, sexy-devil red, cutesy pale pink, sweet baby blue, pretending-I'm-angelic white, or lusty purple. Lime-green, magenta, yellow, navy, beige (whyyyy? Ooo sexy sexy beige), orange, camo, or whatever else is available. You can even get metallics. Just don't use it for functional restraints, because you're inviting circulation problems and nerve damage.

Buy satin, broad cloth, pvc, etc at a fabric store and learn to sew. Also, cut into strips for blindfolds, gags, binding, etc. (Side-note, broad cloth is great for waxing legs. It's cheap, washable, and abundantly available. Old dress-shirts work too.)

I've heard it people making subs kneel on rice. This costs pennies.

*My autocorrect changed pain-slut to pain-slug which amused me, because I'm picturing a slug in a tiny harness begging for salt, "Please Master MacGregor, I've been such a naughty slug, chewing holes in your cabbages and getting slime on your trowel handle!" dark pillow cases make for wonderful hoods.
don't forget the saran wrap (glad wrap for us Aussie)
vet wrap is great if you have a good pet store/horse supply near you, it sticks to itself and is reusable. You can get it in any color. Great for cupcaking or CBT. Also check out the ridding crops and bats. Brushes for sensation play too. Old snake bite kits are good too, for suction cups.
Chop sticks and elastic bands are great for CBT or a make shift humbler (work on nips too) Another version is drum sticks or wooden coat hangers and hair bands.
paint stirrers are really cheap and make good impact toys.
A broom handle cut down with eyelet bolts create good spreaders, shorter you can create handcuff like bars.
pingpong bats for impact play
Looking in discount stores for cheese boards the kind with the handle...some are good enough quality to use as paddles. Paint them if you hate the wood.

One homemade toy that gets high marks from its user/victim is a four foot piece of ordinary electric cord, doubled, and taped to a piece of broom handle ...We think of it as a mini-whip, and it is self-used by an online sub....easy to swing, nicely strong stings, and can leave semi-circular marks if wielded aggressively. Any old electric or extension cord, little handle wood, tape...no cost, great impact.

A hairbrush was mentioned, but not its secondary use...using the bristle side can simulate a three day growth of beard on any tender bits....
Another great "scratchy beard" toy I don't think yet mentioned is an ordinary kitchen Scrubbie--preferably new...It also makes a fine punishment tool...think doubled over, between those tender cheeks, held in by panties for an hour or two.....a zester comes to mind also , for this kind of play.

For blindfold play, an frozen ordinary kitchen spatula held on edge feels exactly like a knife blade to the blindfolded sub....

For temperature play, a sturdy condom filled mostly with water and then tied off can be frozen to make an eye-opening dildo !

Most kitchens have all kinds of implements with rounded handles ... a whisk or wooden spoon sticking out of some opening can make your sub feel very slutty!

To try and answer back to quite a few of ya- I DO have clothespins.
I also have Black Henna tubes which I'll let my Dom play with on my skin a bit when he visits.
I like the rubber bands suggestion too! I think I'll get some as well to add to my box.

The ping-pong paddles/table tennis paddles sounds brilliant!
Same with just a condom filled with water then frozen! Oh my god, I'm squirming just thinking about that. ((This would be AWESOME for temporary use too. Just empty it in the sink then toss it in the trash when done!))


I was thinking of going to the hardware store and looking at tough/stiff wire and getting about 8-10" of it, taping one side or placing a handle of some sort on one side and making my own "evil stick"
Where you draw it back and release against the skin for a nice, focused, sharp little pinchy-sting.

Also, to contribute to sensation play (Or aftercare) Have a sock filled with rice and the open-end sewed off so you can freeze it, or put it in the microwave for a minute to heat up. Makes a splendid cooling/heating pad. (I've done this one for pulled muscles before. It's an oldie, but a goodie)

Well, once upon a time, I found a discarded brown leather purse that had long leather straps and I cut the straps off (they were still good, just needed cleaning. Then I had an old broom out in the garage that was shot, so I cut about 6 inches off the end of the wooden broom handle, drilled a hole down the center and stuffed the leather straps in the hole and it turned out to be my favorite flogger for many years.
Later, I ran across two pieces of EMT pipe, one piece was 1/2 inch and the other was 3/4 inch that were out in the garage. I drilled a hole near the end of the 3/4 inch piece and welded a 1/4 inch-20thd nut at the hole location and found a threaded key-bolt to fit it. That bolt could be used to tighten down against the 1/2 inch pipe which I had slid inside the 3/4 inch pipe. That way, I had an adjustable length spreader bar. At the ends of the pipes, I drilled holes and fastened Velcro straps to use as ankle cuffs.
I have also made some detailed design drawings of an overhead bondage structure, which would allow Master to whip his girl's butt and her breasts without the need to disconnect her cuffs from the rack and physically turn her around and re-attach. Have not built it yet, and, there's no need, since there is no one here to play with anyway. But maybe someday.
Also, those cheap, store-bought thin leather cowboy belts can be cut down and used as paddles or straps after the belt has worn out. Got a couple different paddles cut from old belt leather

Look or ask around for used candles-hot wax is fun and versatile.

Find a third playmate. Ask them to bring dinner. And some favorite toys, including themselves.

Thrift stores and tack (equestrian) consignment shops can contain infinite and unique impact, leather, cloth, rope, and wooden items that a creative mind can work with, don't be afraid to negotiate (especially if a consignment item has dust on it).

Bondage: Old electrical and other cording can be used, belts, scarves, zip ties, sewing someone into two old sheets can be fun, and suspended, and cut aways can be made depending what position one is sewn into.

Tactiles: Literally everywhere. Both sides of velcro, feathers, dusters, different types of houseplants, ice, hot and cold metal, literally almost anything.

Ever made a switch from a sapling? I'm sure the "inter web" will have boundless numbers of how-tos for diffrent types for different woods.

Most especially-the highest and best use of yourself as a toy for his pleasure. Happy home crafting.
