For me it's somewhat in-between the two. I actually love stubble. Somewhere around 1/8th of an inch or less is like the perfect length for me. I enjoy the texture on my tongue! That's how I usually leave my own hair too. Completely shaved below, with a nice buzz above it.

I prefer bare and smooth as possible because I have never been one for hair south of the border (my waist is the border lol) because it feel nice and has always seemed cleaner than having a jungle down there.

For myself, I keep it trimmed and the lips bare. Don't mind hair for the men, so long as it's not too wild and bushy.
