guess this needs to be said

for all those who are new to this type of site never never never post face picks on sites like this. We have a great group of people here but unfortunately we have our share of creeps as well. they can use your face photo to track you to other sites so for your own safety dont give them a chance till you feel it is safe to.

I want to add to this a little, the real thing to be concerned about is Facebook accounts. If someone has your name and city you live in, especially if it's a small city/town, it can be pretty easy to figure out who you are - unless you live in LA or NY, there are very likely no more than 20 people in your town with the same name. Just some simple deduction from there.

Name and city can be pretty easy to give up, even if you don't list them here - consistent usernames mean if you're SeductiveSammy here, and also on Instagram, the latter is going to come up first in a google search. Got a fetlife account with the same name? It probably lists your town and age too. Is it a small town? They can search on Facebook in that town with a certain age range and gender.

If this sounds super scary, I don't mean it to. Delete your Facebook account if you can, it's the easiest method for tracking someone down. Diversifying your usernames across sites is extremely effective. Reverse image searching is only feasible if you use the exact same image file on here as elsewhere, 99.9% of the time.

@Knightsundere i agree with everything you just said and i take care to switch some things up. (usernames and such)

it was the image i was concerned with, reverse image never works when i try to use it but i do understand how percise they have to be.

excellent addition to the post.

Never use the same images, or related images, between accounts, keep kink site ones for that, and vanilla for vanilla. I would agree that face photos, or those revealing identifying features, scars, tattoos should also be avoided.

I would also avoid using photos that have not been meta data stripped, in particular mobile phone photos, which include a lot of info within the digital footprint, that data can reveal the location of where the photo was taken.

Other than ending up on porn sites, nut jobs being able to stalk, harass you, revealing, identifying photos could end up biting your vanilla ass, family members stumbling across them, work stumbling across them etc. Those images could out you, and damage future or current career options.

Once something is out on the net its impossible to put that genie back in the bottle.

I can't agree with this and using a different photo set for kink enough. I decided that if I was going to waste all my free time on social media sites, I might as well invest in kinky ones with the chance of meeting someone and learning some things, rather than seeing nonstop ads and complaining about the state of things.

You have good intentions. But with all due respect, it's not your choice. Your mistake is going "never never never" as if no one "ever should". The implication alone is enough to threaten "violation of choice". And even if it's a mistake and not intended, I am correcting the implication. In case others receive such words as "Deciding for me".

What's to be lost by showing your face? Where's the danger? Maybe YOU find it creepy. But may OTHERS are happy doing it.

You didn't ask. You didn't get the story from other people. You have a concern. I understand this.

I also do more then show my face with people online. And am happy doing it. And they do the same with me. And we're happy doing it. In this case, toying with ourselves on Second life while we lewd roleplay. I get strangers being comfortable doing things with me. It's the confidence.

You'd be surprised what people can get comfortable with and quickly with the power of simply being confident. But if someone is all "Gimmie that face picture" without looking after your wants/needs then that's not an issue of the face picture itself. That's an issue of your own wants/needs being unment and therefor having no reason to provide it.

Basically, everyone needs a reason. Otherwise there's just no reason too.
