Thank you to everyone who has commented; I appreciate the nature of going slow and fast, following your heart etc. - I think for me going at the pace of connectedness is more about if I am going to get hurt I would rather be hurt at the beginning than during the middle or at the end.

I hear the term follow your heart a lot.

I often wonder if that means let that be the deciding factor.

I would much rather my head be the deciding factor. My heart will have input but will not be the one that stirs my decision.
If I were to let my heart be the end all I would have been in some very happy but in the end disastrous situations.

Take everything into consideration. your head will know what to do.

Take your time If it's worth the having, it will persevere.
If they give up too fast.. there ya go
