Question for Dom(me)s/Masters

This thread was directed at dominants whose subs have achieved great things and gone to dizzying heights, but as almost all respondents were doms (of course, this is directed at them!), there remains a point not really mentioned (One poster did, about subs taking off).. and that underscores my point of view here.

Forget-not good ol' human nature with regard to subs who have "nailed it". For many, once they have achieved great goals, they want to live those goals and dispense with "the before time". It can seem like it's holding them back.

Out the window along with "the before time" --goes the old dom. (along with the shabby clothes and ratty old shoes.)

So, in a nut-sack, don't just focus on "growing along with the sub" --- seeking to best one's own best--- Be ready for the possibility of the sub wanting out.

This also happens in marriages too, (In the BDSM world and and vanilla too) --which is an unfortunate fact of life in this day and age. So few things in life are still "permanent".

Hey! The same can be said for dominants whose life circumstances have dramatically improved while the sub remained constant in the dynamic.

Such a dominant might gradually come to realize the situation no longer satisfies, and out goes the now-boring sub with the worn out furniture.
