Being a brat is not the same thing as a bitch - except when it is.
Being a tamer is not the same thing as being an abuser - except when it is. Being A is not the same thing as being B - except when it is. Et cetera. Sometimes these things can be equated because sometimes they are in fact the same. Sometimes not. The thing is that just like every other relationship any of us has ever been in, or will ever be in, it will always come down to compatibility. So if any of the above-mentioned types gets along with another then the rest of us can take our opinions and name-calling and fuck off. More to your point, brats are one of the most perfectly wonderful things that the bdsm gods ever created - and I have absolutely zero patience or tolerance for them. I do not however think any less of them or myself because of that. It equates only to incompatibility, nothing else. Oh, one of the things that I find most irritating about being in a dynamic with a brat is this conversation, which is extremely common from what I am told - Me: "You are being a brat." Her: Nuh-uh, am not! And you can't make me stop if I don't wanna!" Okay, that's actually pretty adorable. For about 3 seconds. Then it's already REALLLLY irritating. |
