BOND is our in-site text and voice instant messaging system. Premium members will see a floating circle icon on other Premium profiles. Clicking on this icon expands a window allowing you to send instant text and voice messages to other Premium members.
Start a new conversation by clicking on the floating friend icon on a Premium profile page.
You can also voice or video call a user directly from BOND by clicking on the phone icon. If a lock appears by the phone icon please request permission to call to activate this feature.
BOND is a fun and easy way to chat in text or voice, all without having to share outside contact details or leave the safety of THE CAGE.
If you’re a Premium member, chances are you have an unread BOND instant message! Click on the BOND bubble on the lower right corner of your screen to open the BOND Messenger.
You will not see a BOND bubble on Basic profiles. Our BOND Instant Messenger is a Premium only feature. Basic members cannot receive BOND instant messages nor can they initiate a BOND conversation. Please note that Premium profiles have a star icon by the user name.
There are two options for deleting BOND messages. Click on the down arrow by any BOND message and you’ll see an option to delete for you only or to delete for all parties. Please be sure of your action as deleted BOND messages cannot be recovered.
A greyed out conversation means that the user no longer has access to BOND Instant Messenger. This could mean the user has deactivated or permanently deleted their account. It may also mean the user has downgraded from a Premium to a Basic account. As BOND Instant Messenger is a Premium only feature, downgrading a subscription will mean BOND conversations are no longer available.
You can click the down arrow to archive inactive conversations.
