Just Like Fire

She feels the emotional threads that bind her begin to rip and tear apart — fraying of their own volition. She feels the mounting and intense pressures of anxiety, self doubt, and despair expanding just beneath the surface and beyond the reach of her power. Her body betrays her with slowly building, but powerful tremors. It torments her by alternating between fire and ice. Sweat glistens on her skin.

“Eyes on Me, My Love”

Five words.

Five words spoken with weight and knowing.

Five words spoken calmly, but full of commanding power.

She chokes on air she didn’t know she’d stopped breathing. His words wash over her like light that dissipates consuming darkness. She obediently searches for Him. She finds His eyes — dark and mesmerizing — centering.

Five words mend her broken threads.

Five words tamp down the mounting pressures.

Five words embrace her — bind her to Him.

Five words of dominance and protection realign her wobbling axis.

“Yes, Master,” is her reply.

In this virtual sphere, not enough grace is publicly extended to true male and female Dominants (yes, capital “D”!) who bear the burden of being associated with dominants — also known  as “instas.” We, submissives, have a gigaton of stories about deception and games by people who want self-gratification—not caring if anyone gets hurt.

So, I will say this loud enough for those to hear me in the back:

THANK YOU for your authenticity and integrity!

THANK YOU for investing the time and energy to build mutual trust and connection!

THANK YOU for being thoughtful and intentional about our dynamics and aftercare!

THANK YOU for the meeting our physical and emotional needs within our dynamics!

THANK YOU for behaving responsibly! Yes

THANK YOU for protecting those under your care and for giving hope to those looking for someone like you.

THANK YOU for choosing to light our fires, rather than extinguish our flames!

I have seen and heard of some of you covering great virtual and physical distances to catch us when we are falling. The support and care you give at the very least bring us happiness and gratification and at the very most literally saves some of our lives.

Superheroes don’t always wear capes, but they do use what they have to make their worlds better. THANK YOU, Dominants, for holding the line.
