" ONE NEVER KNOWS, NOT ONE"

This is my blog dedicated to posting one proverb weekly. No I'm not very religious. I just like writing
1 year ago. March 10, 2024 at 12:30 AM

I really hope you didn't run outside to look. But if you did does it. LOL I love life.

Well, here's something I read quite a while ago. There's an article in the Harvard Business review. It explained how the colors red and yellow are key to successful advertising.

They performed a 2-year study on this. And with outstanding results. Prove the fact that red and yellow and advertising would definitely gain you more business attention.

How they conducted this test was they put people in rooms with computers and ran ads by them. Ones that were blue and white, black and white red and white green and white.

But the ones people most looked at were the ones that were red and yellow. People opened those links and looked at that website. More than any other colors in an advertising ad.

So they wanted to know why people would look at something that's red and yellow versus any other color.

Then they came to this astonishing conclusion. It was all based on a traffic light. That's right. I said a traffic light. Red, yellow and green.

We all know what those collars mean on the traffic light. Green is to go. Yellow is caution. Red is to stop.

So they figured after their testing that people responded to the red and yellow solely because the fact that they see it everyday is a traffic light. Where yellow is cautioned. So your brain automatically alerts you that yellow is a cautionary color. And red means stop in the traffic light. Your brain recognizes red as stop. So now your cautionary color yellow and your red color stop have cautioned you to the attention of the ad and red has made you stop to look at it.

Pretty awesome shit and then when you really think about it it's true. It's totally true.

Go online and Google iconic red and yellow business logos.

You will find is all the images you're going to see are very seriously successful mega businesses all with red and yellow logos. And red and yellows and all their advertising. And these are some of the most well-known worldwide companies that are majorly successful. I just found extremely interesting in the article.

That's all I have to say about that now. Go make yourself a red and yellow profile page and you'll get more looks. Lol that was funny. Have a great weekend!.

These are my thoughts on the process of

the clocks going forward in the spring. As you know, this happens every year in many parts of the world, and it can have a number of positive effects on our lives.

One of the most obvious benefits is that it gives us more daylight in the evening. This can make it easier to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather, and it can also help to improve our mood and energy levels. Additionally, the extra daylight can make it easier to get things done around the house and yard.

Another benefit of the clocks going forward is that it can help to reduce crime. Studies have shown that there is a correlation between the amount of daylight and the crime rate. This is likely because people are less likely to commit crimes when there are more people around.

Finally, the clocks going forward can also help to improve our sleep. When we get more sunlight in the morning, it helps to regulate our circadian rhythm, which is our body's natural sleep-wake cycle. This can lead to better sleep quality and more restful nights.

I hope this email has been helpful in explaining the benefits of the clocks going forward in the spring. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

And furthermore, please do not look behind you.

BOO.

Of course I didn't find an alligator in my yard. I live in Pennsylvania. But if I did I sure as shit wouldn't lend him anything. Unless he was really nice.

I had a great time spending Sunday riding my Harley-Davidson on a beautiful sunny day. The weather was perfect, and the roads were clear. I rode for hours, enjoying the scenery and the freedom of the open road. It was a great way to relax and de-stress.

I'm glad I took the time to spend some time alone, but I also enjoyed the company of my bike. It's always a pleasure to ride my Harley, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have spent the day doing something I love.

If you don't know , the title consists of lyrics from an Elton John song.

Trust and respect are two of the most important elements in any relationship. Without them, it's difficult to build a strong and lasting connection.

Trust is the foundation of any relationship. It's the belief that the other person is honest, reliable, and has your best interests at heart. When you trust someone, you feel safe and secure in the relationship.

Respect is just as important as trust. It's the ability to value and appreciate the other person for who they are. When you respect someone, you listen to them, consider their feelings, and treat them with kindness.

Trust and respect go hand-in-hand. When you trust someone, you're more likely to respect them. And when you respect someone, you're more likely to trust them.

Building trust and respect takes time and effort. It's not something that happens overnight. But it's worth it in the long run. When you have a relationship built on trust and respect, you have a strong foundation for a happy and fulfilling life together.

Have a great evening.

I really didn't buy a battleship today!

The photo is of country ribs I bought in a local butcher shop. They turned out amazing. I made them on the grill low heat long time. Then I sauteed some Green beans and mushrooms locally sourced organic. And I made an organic agave reduction sauce to go with it. Being Italian. I just love to cook.

I have always enjoyed cooking, and I find it to be a very relaxing and rewarding activity. I love experimenting with new recipes and trying out different cuisines. I also enjoy the challenge of creating a delicious meal out of simple ingredients.

One of my favorite things to do is to cook for my friends and family. I love seeing the joy on their faces when they taste something that I have made. I also enjoy the conversation and laughter that always accompanies a good meal.

In addition to cooking, I am also a big fan of basketball. I love watching the NBA, and I always try to catch the Friday night games. I find basketball to be a very exciting and fast-paced sport. I also enjoy the camaraderie of watching a game with friends and family.

I think that cooking and watching basketball are two great ways to relax and have fun. I am grateful that I have these hobbies in my life.

Have a delicious weekend.

The Monday, April 8, 2024, total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The total solar eclipse will begin over the South Pacific Ocean. Weather permitting, the first location in continental North America that will experience totality is Mexico’s Pacific coast at around 11:07 a.m. PDT.

The total solar eclipse will be visible along a narrow track stretching from Texas to Maine on April 8, 2024. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout all 48 contiguous U.S. states.

The path of the eclipse continues from Mexico, entering the United States in Texas, and traveling through Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Small parts of Tennessee and Michigan will also experience the total solar eclipse. The eclipse will enter Canada in Southern Ontario, and continue through Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Cape Breton. The eclipse will exit continental North America on the Atlantic coast of Newfoundland, Canada, at 5:16 p.m. NDT.

A map developed using data from a variety of NASA sources shows the total eclipse path as a dark band. Outside this path, purple lines indicate how much of the Sun will become covered by the Moon during the partial eclipse. This video shows different areas of the map, explaining these and other features that describe what observers across the country can expect to see during the total eclipse.

This table provides the time that totality begins in some U.S. cities in the path of totality. These areas will also experience a partial eclipse before and after these times.

I believe your next chance will be 2044

Check it out. You may never see it again.

I really enjoy giving my blogs. Really ridiculous titles that have absolutely nothing to do with the body of the post itself.

My thoughts on why a woman might prefer a handwritten poem over a dozen roses.

A handwritten poem is a unique and personal gift that shows thought and effort. It's something that the recipient can cherish for years to come. Roses, on the other hand, are beautiful but ephemeral. They will wilt and die within a few days.

A handwritten poem can express emotions and feelings in a way that flowers cannot. It can be a way to say "I love you," "I'm sorry," or "I'm thinking of you." A poem can also be a way to share a special memory or experience.

Of course, there are many women who would love to receive a dozen roses. But for those who appreciate the written word, a handwritten poem is a truly special gift.

Just my opinion.

Don't forget to water your poem. Lol

I've been thinking a lot about what it would be like to be a superhero in modern times. With all the technology and social media, it would be a very different experience than it was in the past.

For one thing, superheroes would be much more visible. With everyone carrying around cameras on their phones, there would be no way to keep a secret identity. This would make it difficult to maintain a normal life and relationships.

On the other hand, superheroes would also have a much greater reach. With the internet, they could connect with people all over the world and share their message of hope and justice. This could be a powerful force for good.

Of course, being a superhero in modern times would also come with its own set of challenges. With so much information available, it would be easy for people to learn about superheroes' weaknesses and exploit them. This would make it difficult to stay safe and effective.

Overall, I think being a superhero in modern times would be a complex and challenging experience. But it would also be an incredibly rewarding one. The chance to make a difference in the world and inspire others would be worth any risk.

Mondays are often seen as the worst day of the week, but I believe they can be quite positive. For one, Mondays offer a fresh start. The weekend is over, and it's time to start anew. This can be a great opportunity to reflect on the past week and set goals for the week ahead. Additionally, Mondays can be a time to catch up with friends and colleagues after the weekend. This can be a great way to reconnect and build relationships. Finally, Mondays can be a time to get a head start on the week's work. This can help you feel more productive and organized throughout the week.

Of course, Mondays can also be challenging. The start of the week can be hectic, and it can be difficult to get back into the swing of things. However, by focusing on the positive aspects of Mondays, you can make them a more enjoyable and productive day.

Sincerely,

JW.:)

I'm writing to you today to talk about the importance of evaluating your self-worth and putting yourself as number one. It's something that I've been thinking about a lot lately, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you.

I think it's important to start by understanding what self-worth is. Self-worth is your opinion of yourself. It's how you see yourself, and it's based on your beliefs, values, and experiences. Your self-worth can be affected by many things, including your relationships, your job, and your accomplishments.

It's important to have a healthy self-worth because it can affect your overall well-being. People with high self-worth are more likely to be happy, successful, and have healthy relationships. They're also more likely to be able to cope with stress and adversity.

On the other hand, people with low self-worth are more likely to experience depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. They're also more likely to be in abusive relationships and to make poor choices.

So, how can you evaluate your self-worth? There are a few things you can do. First, take some time to reflect on your beliefs, values, and experiences. What are you proud of? What are you grateful for? What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Once you have a better understanding of yourself, you can start to develop a more positive self-image. This doesn't mean that you have to be perfect. It just means that you need to accept yourself for who you are, flaws and all.

Putting yourself as number one is also important. This doesn't mean that you should be selfish or inconsiderate of others. It just means that you need to take care of yourself first. This includes taking care of your physical and mental health, setting boundaries, and saying no when you need to.

When you put yourself as number one, you're not only taking care of yourself, but you're also setting an example for others. You're showing them that it's okay to put yourself first sometimes.
