You Never Know ~ Dave Matthews Band

Sitting still as stone
watching... watching

People walking by me, wondering why
no one ever stops to talk
or talks about if they ever did

What if God shuffled by
One day we might see
doing not a thing
breathing just to breathe
we might find some reason

but rushing around
seems what's wrong with the world
don't lose the dreams inside your head
they'll only be there til you're dead
dream

lying on the roof
counting the suns that fill the sky
I wonder
is someone in the heavens looking back down on me?
I'll never know

so much space to believe
funny, when you're small
the moon follows the car
does no one but you see
hey, the moon is chasing me

I worried if I looked away, she'd be gone.
don't lose the dreams inside your head
they'll only be there til you're dead
dream
oh oh oh oh

walking through the wood,
no cares in the world
the world's shades come to play
she's all mine just for a day

and there's not a moment to lose in the game
don't let the troubles in your head
steal too much time, you'll soon be dead
so play

all fall down
it won't be so long now
out of the darkness comes light
like a flash
you think you can you think you can
sometimes that is the problem
dream, little darling
dream

spinning on the wind
the leaf fell from the limb
and every day should be a good day to die

ohh
all fall down
it won't be too long now
every fire dies out
I find it hard to explain
how I got here
I think i can I think i can
but then again I will falter
dream

I think I can I think I can
I think I can I think I can

oh dream
little darling
dream

spinning on the wind
the leaf fell from the limb

According to a 19th-century legend, the Truth and the Lie meet one day. The Lie says to the Truth: “It’s a marvelous day today!“

The Truth looks at the skies and sighs, for the day was really beautiful. They spend a lot of time together, ultimately arriving beside a well. The Lie tells the Truth: “The water is very nice, let’s take a bath together!“

The Truth, once again suspicious, tests the water and discovers that it indeed is very nice. They undress and start bathing. Suddenly, the Lie comes out of the water, puts on the clothes of the Truth, and runs away. The furious Truth comes out of the well and runs everywhere to find the Lie and to get her clothes back.

The World, seeing the Truth naked, turns its gaze away, with contempt and rage.
The poor Truth returns to the well and disappears forever, hiding therein its shame. Since then, the Lie travels around the world, dressed as the Truth, satisfying the needs of society, because, the World, in any case, harbors no wish at all to meet the naked Truth.

“Women like me do not fall gracefully,
we stumble over our spines, trip over
our vowels, and collapse into your arms.

Our hearts are open books.
Russian novels containing filthy pages.
Your voice drifts across
the telephone wires each night.
Our hearts are first drafts,
unedited verses about each and every
person we have ever loved and lost: the stranger
on the subway, that night on the elevator with a man whose eyes burned through your soul,
the boy who stole our virginity
but not our hearts.

Women like me will love you from a distance
of a thousand syllables while laying in your bed,
we will destroy you in the most beautiful way possible,
and when we leave you will finally understand
why storms are named after people.”

by M.K. Wilde, Katrina

"The First Taste"

I lie in an early bed thinking late thoughts
Waiting for the black to replace my blue
I do not struggle in your web
Because it was my aim to get caught

But daddy long legs
I feel that I'm finally growing weary
Of waiting to be consumed by you

Give me the first taste
Let it begin
Heaven cannot wait forever
Darling, just start the chase
I'll let you win
But you must make the endeavor

Oh, your love gives me a heart contusion
Adagio breezes fill my skin with sudden red
Your hungry flirt borders intrusion
I'm building memories on things we have not said

Full is not heavy as empty
Not nearly my love
Not nearly my love
Not nearly

Give me the first taste
Let it begin
Heaven cannot wait forever
Darling, just start the chase
I'll let you win
But you must make the endeavor

Bound in a beautiful corset for the evening. The tighter the better (IMHO) I love the way they heave my breasts up and keep everything else in place.
It makes it hard for me to take a deep breath. Especially when I start panting. Add restraints to the mix and I think it's a near-perfect situation. Thoughts?

You’re like a pretty picture painted with a dirty brush.
A chaotic mess of foul language and an innocent heart.
Would you let my demons find a home in your darkness?
Let my rough edges smooth out your silhouette, remove the layer you hide behind from the world?
She's the color in the world. Dangerous curves from a steady, sweeping broad stroke. My fingerprints graze her outline. She has hair that smells like coffee, Eyes like the night sky- dark and calm. Soft lips that tempt like honey and taste like depravity. She takes the abuse, the sadistic way I coat her canvas. Pretty colors and decorations adorn her and she wears them well.
With fingerprints on her throat and soft whimpers in my ear. She degrades herself with words, her value for my pleasure. Eager to please. Eager to be useful. She salivates with every strike of my hand, edging from the pain of my enjoyment. She strips and presents herself, a mess between her thighs. Her eyes begging me to let her taste what I've done to her.
She's my favorite flavor of sin. An intoxicated, masochistic junkie. She'll follow me everywhere, just to chase the chaos. And the chaos is loud, but I don't know how to love another way.
