Obvious imagery and nonsensical metaphors (plus some other things in between)

Let me paint a picture of how I am who I am through some haphazard word arrangements. No refunds offered on your perception of wasted time.

The fresh rage stinging, indignant pride. A curly man sings an angelic song....a derelict opens his mouth and out of the darkness shines clarity...a priest steps before his congregation and with his arms outstretched...smiles confusion.

Hush, hush, hush or you'll miss the illusion, it happens quietly, quickly, with all the dexterity and desperation of a burglar out for one last score, trying to outrun an eviction notice his family won't take down. Judge him little, judge you not, hidden beneath the universally applied stain are foundational problems, attached to solutions...never sought, stuffed into shoe boxes, shoved in the top corners of closets, perfumed by moth balls, and entertained by the floorboards creaking...somewhere else.

Our desire for instant gratification has stripped away the honesty of process, left us with a set of instructions and expected results-instant mashed potatoes have become instant politics...can you hear it? Can you hear the echo of opinions that jumped to conclusions, accepted before vetted, the latter is only optional now anyways.

Nature versus nurture, perception is the suture, viewing ourselves through the eyes of strangers and their ever present mother. I propose redefining what you see in the mirror as a collective societys rendering of individual such n such, measuring success by the current fad, which has far surpassed the realm of color and objects. The goal is no longer to sell you accessories for your life...its to sell you, Your Life.

Society, the few, and you, one these things is not like the other, doesn't quite belong, and it happens to be the only one that stands alone. And be honest...when the proverbial shit hits the fan, do you blur the lines of responsibility, or can you be comfortable being accountable, just being you?
