My Journey through life...

The ramblings of a bored and trivial mind!
1 year ago. May 30, 2023 at 6:06 PM

Hey all,

I'm gathering some of my friends here have thought I disappeared. But I'm still around. I may not be vocal enough, but still here.

Last weekend, I was at my part time job when I didn't quite feel well. Long story short, I passed out. When I came to, I was being put into a stretcher and rushed to the hospital.

My heart went into a strange rhythm, and my larynx had closed. I thought I was suffocating at the time.

My shirt was cut from me and 8 was going in and out of consciousness. After the fact, the doctor that attended to me said is was nearly fatal.

Moral of the story. Always check and double check the medication you take. Yeah, it was a medication I was taking that was mislabeled, and it stripped my potassium away to near fatel levels.

I'm happy to report, I am home. I have rebuilt my potassium levels, and now prepping for another surgery for next week, because, well, it's difficult to breath. So I'm getting another new implant, I'm addition to my pace/defib.

Have a great week kinksters!.

Hey Guys!

Bet you thought I fell off the planet. I've been REALLY busy lately. First off, my CHF (Congestive heart failure) has kicked back in on high. It was really hard to breathe for a bit. BUT I got myself to my cardiologist and he sent me to and advanced CHF doctor.

Long story short, I've been going through short heart procedures (3 so far) and getting ready for the fourth on the fourteenth.

All that and during that time I find out we're moving on the 27th. LOL. I got some quick healing to do!

So I'll be around. I may not say hey all the time , but I do think of you all!!

So, it's off to box up the office and try to cancel the internet by the 27th! LOL! I doubt it.... But one can try.

Rich 🙂

Good evening Cagers!

A while back I told many of you I would be lightly monitoring this account and not be premium anymore. (Now this is why I love this bunch!)

After my premium ran out, someone anonymous gifted me an extension, and I don't know who.

Now seemingly again, this happened and I don't know whom to thank!

I know I should have received an email saying who (?), maybe? But I did not.

So with an open heart and a hearty handshake I would like to thank the one . or even one's that have done this for me.

You are always welcome to email me!!

Till then,

Stay safe!

Yeah, I know,

Strange, odd, not at ALL about BDSM.  Neo, where is your submissive? This is not about that! I have none, YET! Although..... Nope, that's another story! However, While BDSM can be quite as strange depending on who you may be, I bring to you just as strange but in a different and odd way. The paranormal. I've blogged about it before. So those bored with me turn away I say! Go, Shoe! Off with you! The rest of you can enjoy my ramblings of a mad and bored mind as I try to unravel the why and how things are  happening to a certain family in NC. I'm a Dom that can be smart sometimes. But I have to wait for the full blown investigation to see if I'm right. So far we had complaints of physical attacks and a whole lot of seeing apparitions, so when I went to the interview I recorded it. You see where I'm going right?  Yeah me neither.

Anyway, this is picture of the recorded interview. You see the top green wav's, that's the recorded discussion in wave form view. However the bottom reddish portion of the screen, well that right there tells another story.

 Welcome to Spectral View!

Insert picture here:

While wave form view tells me how loud (decibels) it got, Spectral can tell me the relative frequency range. And what you see right here is an air conditioner turning on and off. Yup....see the yellow blips? that is the HVAC running. By the way, I had to zoom in the spectral view about three hundred percent to see those yellow blips. This frequency seems to me to be approaching Infra-sound or ULF (ultra low frequency).

As far as I know, it begins to occur between 0 and 500 Hz , we can see that these yellow blips are well under the 200 Hz range. Or at least I can on my screen shot. That means, that this frequency , probably can't be heard, by a healthy young person. It can however do things like make people feel uncomfortable, give them chills, make the eyes actually shake so they see shadows that are not there. We as responsible investigators have to take that all into account.

So now I have to do math. Which I hate! I have to fiddle with this damn recording to find out the exact frequency of this anomaly. So this will be my task tonight while you all are sleeping or getting up on the other side of the world. These are the boring and crazy things that just make me who I am.

So have a good evening, and stay sane all!! I know I won't!

Later!

Hey all,

So it is yet another sleepless night tonight. The good news is I believe the novel I have been working on is finished and on to second draft status. That's cool and all. The not so good news that was a bit harsh was my ex partner called me (No when I say partner, I don't mean sexually, I mean officer on the PD). Anywhos, she is now and has been in the Celebrity Entertainment business for a good while since she left the force. When she calls, she normally wants something and we barter.

Today was no different, It was about self publishing and I had the answer. My co-author would be able to answer all her questions. In return she would probably be able to get us some celebrity blurbs. Cool. But when she saw the website, she commented on the amateurish artwork. I was Kind of insulted. I didn't show it, but let her have her piece. The artwork is supposed to depict the artwork is the eighteen hundreds, so it is pen and ink cross stitch I think. I forgot the actual method our illustrator used but I believe that's it.

Either way, that just got me down, but not for long, I have enough people that are blindly finding the Facebook page and loving the art. I gather she just doesn't understand the concept we are going for.

Either way, Just saying hey to everyone, seeing how you all are doing!! Hoping it's good, and I have a second book to get back to writing. 5 years for one is enough!!

:-)

See ya on the flip side peeps!

,,,since i posted , so I thought I would tonight. Just random thoughts as always and for those who know me, , do know they can range from the serious, to the inane! Right now I'm thinking of what a cluster my country is in. It's almost as if we have two different "factions" at this stage of the game. To tell you the truth I thought I saw it all as a Cop and Firefighter, and I DID! Damn, from fistfights, to bar fights, murders, homicides, I had a girl at a bar try and cut my carotid artery once with a broken beer bottle. (I'm not ashamed to say that she became unconscious rather quickly) It was the one and ONLY time I hit a woman. I mean, SHE TRIED TO KILL ME. Fighting fires with Rescue 4, running in while everyone was running out. I gather you have to be a certain type of nuts to do all this?  Now the Star Tribune comes out with this article "Are we ready for a Civil War Lite?"

Yeah people, you can't make it up. Well. I certainly have the skills for one. I am a leader, doesn't make me want to be one if that happens. But I will protect myself and get to safe and neutral harbor and protect those that are under my charge along the way. Nothing would stop that.

But I've just been inspired to write again by BEG (Thank you!) So, this one is for you! Cuz it's been a long time LOL!

So, once again I turn to my blog,

And yet again, I say to the friends, Thank YOU for all your support and emails. Talking with me helps a LOT. You encourage me through my times that I fail to see any light at the end of the tunnel. Anyone that may be new to this site and sees this blog, may wonder what I'm talking about, I'll explain quickly, (Those that know me, turn away briefly, as you don't want a repeat!)

I suffer from PTSD due to law enforcement duties and emergency services. Chronic pain in my back and arms is a constant and so is insomnia. So needless to say, I am up a lot.

With that said, I'm writing a novel with a co-author, and now have until October to get it out. My research has stalled and I'm in panic mode. (But Rich, that's eleven months away! What are you worried about?) You may ask.

Well, the quandary lies in the history of the civil war, the railroads of the times, and the trails westward. One would think that finding historians to reach out to would be easy right? Well, actually, not so much. This novel is now five years in the making, and it is part one of a two part series, and I've already shared our new illustrators vision of our characters. So yeah, I'm a bit panicked because I'm the so called assigned historian on this project.

With THAT said, I always, ALWAYS find solace in the following video. It soothes me. I'm sure you've heard of the Foo Fighters, but have you heard of the Rockin' 1000? When I first saw this video, I remember saying to myself "damn, this band will go places!". I watch it each time I need to overcome, improvise and adapt. They were originally organized in a crowdfunding effort by Fabio Zaffagnini. Their initial performance in 2015 was made under the direction of Marco Sabiu (cited from wiki)

As for the band itself, They are mostly from Italy, and Fabio created it to beg the Foo Fighters to come and play in Italy for them because they had not toured there.

For those that have seen this, pardon the post, and please go on, for those that have not; get the goosebumps!

Now, Please enjoy, Learn to Fly, by One Thousand musicians, playing in a field of green in July of 2015, overcoming great odds. If Fabio can do this, I can do a lot of things!!

Hi all,

I want to start by apologizing to all my friends that I have not been online nor by my phone for the past week. (Or it feels that way so it seems.)

Life has a funny way of getting you sick, and miserable, giving you all sorts of ailments. My stomach for one and then there's my back. But aside from that there's also the text messages that I could not get back to. So all you wonderful lovely friends, I am so sorry.I've been in a lot of pain.

With that said, life also has a funny and quirky side. Which mentally shook me to the core. In a good way. But I still remain a realist. I have a hobby, and this hobby pertains to helping others (Yes, it's outside of the BDSM world) and it involves well, for lack of better terms, the paranormal. Before you get all thinking I'm crazy, let me explain. I do not , repeat, do not, run around looking for ghosts. I have built three teams that I have  vetted in my thirty years of doing this (trained by my father actually) to be critical thinkers.

We use the scientific method as much as we can without holding doctorates. I know that sounds utterly ridiculous, but we try. To give you an example of how serious we are, I cannot discus some of the projects we are proceeding with because the groups I'm affiliated with are under an NDA. We have contacts all over the country working with us from NASA to the most prestigious colleges. With that said, my team was contacted this weekend, and I reluctantly answered because there was a two year old involved.

After initial interview the Grandmother friended me in FB and saw the book I've been working on and the latest (Just published about two hours prior) artwork from our illustrator. She wanted to know what it was about. Again, I reluctantly told her. We are in very uncharted territory with this type of genre and don't want the rug pulled out from under us.

Well, come to find out she's a screen writer, her cousin was on Second City TV, and she is reading our draft and loving the concept.

While I still can't walk today because of my back and the damn migraine, I'm feeling better about my writing for sure.

Moral of today's story I guess. Karma will come around. You just need patience. Also, Never expect the best. Always Brace for the worst, hope for the best.

Rich (Yup, used my real name today!)

...is back again.

Pounding against the walls of my temples. But that's okay. I'm tired my friends. I'll get sleep eventually when I'm pushed to the point of complete and utter exhaustion. I'm tired of so many things that I feel I would bore you, that I would actually come off as a whining infant. You would have to yell at me and scream "Knock it off Neo and grow the fuck up!"

Hey, I actually broke my profanity virginity here! Kudos to me! Let me introduce myself, I'm Neo, (This is where you all scream HI NEO!) and I blush and whisper "Hi" back.

Anyone that wants to leave, leave now, I tend to ramble as my friends Carol and Hanna can attest to. Maybe even my new friend SSG. I have bouts of PTSD that keep me up at night making me think of the "what-if's" in life. It's not cool people. Just a small piece of advice, if you are having regrets, sort it out now, there's no time for what if's later. It will eat you up when your older. Now I'm talking to the younger people here. The ones with the not so evil what if's. No, Mine are convoluted, mine stem from seconds that could have been avoided, that continue to run on my head over and over and over, even thirty years after the fact.

What if I was not training a rookie and I was driving?

What if I was able to hop the curb with the RMP and block the drunk driver? I mean I saw it, But couldn't command him in time!

Yeah, THOSE what if's.... They only get worse guys. I guess I wanted to let my friends here get to know me better, I guess I wanted to let the community get to know me better... I will, little by little.

Never leave your loved ones go without saying you love them, or holding them one last time. Especially if they are your fourteen year old daughter walking home across the street.

Because sometimes, there might be an officer thirty years later, saying.......what if...

Sorry had to share...........

Yes, yet another sleepless night.

After a long weekend of countless arguments with not a soul to talk with, so I'm venting. I try not to scream much in my blog... actually, I don't think I ever have, Carol? Henna?  Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Have I??  Anyway! With that said, down to business. LOL!

I truly don't care about the drop down, drag out verbal arguments. I'd rather educate. I do read blogs when I come online (when I'm not too busy trying to write the book in a panic that is!) and one stood out to me all weekend. About a young woman that let herself (no names) become intrigued with a master and meet him offline. I won't get into the rest of the blog, in the event that anyone has read it, long story short, she landed up not having the best experience. The so called Dom lied. She felt horrible.

Lesson number one to all newcomers: Every Dom will lie to you. We will tell you exactly what you want to hear because we know you need to hear it. This should be the takeaway from my lesson. Not all men are liars, but chances are.... (I think you may know where I'm going with this)

Lesson number two: Always be safe. No, I'm not talking about birth control. I'm talking about your own physical safety first and foremost. Please do not trust another when they tell you, "come by my house", or "let's meet at this hotel". Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I am talking about. I was a cop (among a lot of other things in my life including IT professional). Establish trust first. ("But yeah Rich, how do I do that?"

I get it, You really can't establish trust from writing back and forth. If you want to text first, do that. vid chat, do that, make sure the person is real and not not just a sadistic bastard or bitch (yeah it can go both ways, if your masochistic, that's up to you.) No insult intended. Either way, just BE SAFE.

Lastly, I've found a few websites I thought I would share with you all, to show just how bad scamming is. Especially in the romance department. (Now we enter my IT background).

It's amazing how many lost souls are still to this day swindled out of money, taken advantage of and extorted. I learned in the 90's there was no Nigerian Prince that was seeking to transfer funds to America, but still people fall for the easiest of scams to this day. I gather we all are lost in one way or another. I've listed the sites below. I believe that each site is affiliated with SCARS (Society of Citizens Against Relationship Scams) in one way or another.

www.AgainstScams.org

www.RomanceScamsNow.com

www.Anyscam.com

Also, what I found interesting was that Romancescamsnow has a LOT of tools to help identify scammers. Especially photo galleries of the top 50 latest stolen photos. I cannot guarantee how updated it is, but it seems like a lot of knowledge.  On a side note, even the FTC published a page on their website in February 2018, here https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2018/02/has-online-love-interest-asked-you-money

Well, That's it for the Neo show tonight! Just hoping to catch an ear or two, drop some good fortune or knowledge or maybe make a friend or two!

Stay safe all, and as always,

Till next time!
