My father told me long ago that there are different kinds of love and that not everyone has the same meaning of love.
He would tell me " you better make sure that what you mean when you say you love someone matches to what they mean when they tell you they love you, if not you will more times than not find yourself in heartbreak all because of a difference in interpretation."
Best advice I have ever gotten.
