There are really 3 types of wands:
Neon: Pro: cheaper (not quality) Con: not very strong Ceramic Core: Pro: Strong, easy to find attachments due to shallower neck Con: Can only use for about 30 mins before over heating. Solid State Core: Pro: Can use for hours without over heating. Price point between Neon and Ceramic Core. Con: Some have too long of a neck making some attachments not possible to use. Note: Some sites are putting out a Solid State Core that is more powerful than a Ceramic Core. Price point is close to double that of a Solid State. You can use one of these wands for about 3 hours before over heating. |
