To summarize for those of you who cannot take the time to read, there's a very rising trend in the porn industry of the "hidden hotel spycam" that is particularly prevalent in Chinese hotels but is not limited to there. The onus should definitely not be on us, the customers of hotel rooms, to check for these cameras(some of which can be as small as a pencil eraser nowadays) but that is sadly what it has come to. Be safe, be wary, above all know how to protect yourself. It sucks to do when the first thing you want to do after getting to your room is to relax but you should turn off all lights and start looking for one around your room. Usually you can find it by looking for a flash through your own smartphone camera but there are dedicated devices you can use to detect them as well. |
