Teaching or Helping you Learn....

TopekaDom(dom male){Chaos }Verified Account • Jun 6, 2026
Do you think there is a difference between Teaching and Helping you Learn?

Particularity concerning the Lifestyle. I have my own view on this but would love to see what others think of it.

Can you give more context?

The best I can do is say it is best to view from the Dom/me's viewpoint.

I don't wish to explain my viewpoint right now, as not to influence what others might think

Depends upon the sub's level of experience. Some are entry level, others have had some real experiences. Once this is determined, updating skill set to this Dom's expectations or start training from ground zero.

I think context matters. A teacher teaches by providing knowledge, instruction, experience, and guidance. Learning, is an individual process.
Two people can have the exact same lesson and walk away with very different understanding and outcomes.
Peers, mentors, discussion groups, and shared experiences facilitate learning rather than directly teach. They create time for reflection, questions, perspective, and personal growth.
If i’m talking about the lifestyle, i see a difference between someone trying to teach a certain skill, protocol, or concept and someone helping another person learn through discussion, experience and support. Even some self discovery?
The information can be provided by a teacher, but the learning ultimately belongs to the individual.
