A while ago, i read a document made for some journalist from Spain explaining the rise and fall of the OWK: stories, experiences and more details. This kinda Femdom utopia worked for some time, but i think i remember the part that explained that the percentage of dominant women and submissive men, were low. I can't remember the statistics, but both were under 15%-10% worldwide. (maybe subs men are creatures in extinction )
So, 1 of the big reasons to close, was not enough subs-slaves to mantain the site or project, the income wasn't enough to keep the castle working fully operational. (The OWK made videos or "porn videos" as another way to increase the money income) Also, the castle was ruled by the Queen, and a little court. Women can join the ranks or be visitors. But the money ended one way or another on Queen's hads... the result... one day she retired and the money was gone with it. Or that's what i read about it. Even in these times, the dream, the spirit, the idea of the OWK remains on some people who read about it, or had some relationship with the place. As MissBonnie pointed it, there is womaniaempire.com, an initiative to reactivate the idea, i think Mistress Ezada and another colaborators keeps the OWK site, and social networks working. |
