How to let someone know they aren't your type?

What ever you decide to tell them, just make sure you aren't stringing them along because you are trying to be nice. In a way, that is the ultimate cruelty.
I just had an experience where a dom I had gotten comfortable with went so far as encouraging and going through with a first session..... my first ever and he was well aware of this.... just to be told within 24 hours by him that he took it too fast and didn't have time for an additional sub. It hurt a lot more than it needed to if he could have just been honest from the start. His stated reasons may have been different than yours, but I think anyone reading this can see my point.
