Hey everyone! New to the site and also relatively new to the community... still exploring with my partner (also fairly new) We recently started discussing floggers and I wanted to get more information from someone more experienced. We enjoy spanking but have never used any sort of tool for it (only hands). Can someone please talk about types of material best for a beginner? Does the width of the bands matter? Any other information would be helpful. Looking into purchasing one to try out but don't want to buy something that may be too harsh initially and turn me off to it completely. I know technique of the user also has a lot to do harshness. Thanks

I'm new to this life but..

Most floggers are made from some type of leather
There are some floggers made from plastic like material. Some even are LED!
The length and width of the tails doesn't really affect the sensation..
But websites recommend the flogger be at the same length of the Dom's arm from shoulder to fingertip.
floggers that are too short for the dom can lead to injuries.
Floggers that are too long for the Dom can be hard to control..
