Hello Sao check my profile I send you a message. I Think is an interesting practice there because the whole Shibari comes from it. It can be perceived extreme because of the porn. But is exciting and thrilled to read. Have a happy day

I don't know a lot about it, other than what is mentioned in general and bdsm media. There does seem to be a heavy focus in that coverage on Rope Bondage of the various most obvious types, but a lot less focus on the types of dynamics to be found in Japan, types of communities, clubs, views on Consent (which I have read regarding Rope Activity can be different to the west) and Japans wider societal and legal views on BDSM/Fetish activity, for instance how underground and private is bdsm in Japan.

The general western media seems to focus more on Maid Cafes, Otaku, Lolita fashions, and not so much bdsm culture/activity in Japan. I would suspect that Japanese manga and hentai, porn, and more mainstream films ( Nana et Kaoru, Tokyo Decadence, Flower and Snake, Wife to be Sacrificed) are no more a good guide to how bdsm/fetish activity is practiced in Japan than similar western media, 50 Shades, Story of O etc.

I would certainly be interested in what you know of bdsm in Japan, say compared to what you think of western bdsm.

Excellent topic. For me, the Japanese culture involving BDSM is very intricate. Japanese peoples are very dedicated and are perfectionist at what they do which in turn brings immense depth to BDSM. I believe someone above already mentioned Shibari, which is a perfect example of what I am speaking to.

Speaking of Japan, is rope art?

Thanks to the people who posted on this topic.
So that's it. Speaking of Japan, the image of rope art is strong. Certainly the Japanese are static and tend not to like violent movements. I personally like Western BDSM culture and I am a very minority. If you have the opportunity to come to Japan, would you like to learn rope art?

senyojo jutsu Definitely into that but as I am not from Japan, finding a genuine practitioner of it in the Japanese style is not easy. Other than that, Western BDSM is, well more my style. Energetic.

Re: Speaking of Japan, is rope art?

In Japan, "kinbaku" = people who want rope art are very welcome. Even if you are a traveler, you will get the best service. And we are waiting for the metamorphosis of foreigners. I am very welcome.

If you want rope art, we will teach you a safe place to experience it.

You know a lot of Japanese manga works, don't you? Thank you. Speaking of Japan, the impression of anime and manga has taken root overseas. It's a nice evaluation for me as well. I also know that hentai culture is valued. This is also a complicated feeling, but I am happy as a Japanese citizen. If you or any of the members of this website want to know about Japanese BDSM culture, I would love to hear from you on this topic. I want more questions. It may be difficult to read in translation, but ...
