Aaaggh!!! I cannot delete my clone comment and I cannot edit my poorly written response that confuses even me. I hope I made some sense?!
A note on the film: thoroughly disappointed in Sam Taylor-Wood's directing as she made my favourite porn video, which is not really porn. It's from a video art project titled 'Destricted'. Her short film is a guy masturbating in the desert - very hot! I do acknowledge the poor content she was working with but still.... It's ruined her art for me  .

If Christian Grey was ugly and broke, he would be an abusive controlling creep.
Still I read the books and watched the movies. They were all pretty dumb but the soundtracks are decent. I’ll never get over the tampon scene in the one book  .

I’ll never get over the tampon scene in the one book .We can't post memes here in the forum, but I know everyone must have seen the meme saying "If Christian Grey lived in a trailer park, this would be an episode of Criminal Minds". 
I never read the books but heard about the tampon scene but not in any depth. It was obviously left out of the movies for the sake of sparing people's eyes from bleeding. *giggle* |

I watched the first movie and while it isn't my favorite, I didn't hate it.
I know it made a lot of people angry and I can understand why but I didn't take the movie as a portrayal of bdsm either. I just saw it for what it was, a source of entertainment however shitty it may be. |
