Robin Scherbahtsky is a Switch
I love How I Met Your Mother with a heavy passion, and yet I just realized this and I am ashamed of myself that I didn't realize this sooner. We can see throughout the show that Robin's dynamic switches per the character that she's with. Barney was a submissive in their relationship just as Nick was a dominant in his relationship with her. Just as Lilly Aldren is a switch, but I already knew that. She is the dominant in her relationship with Marshall and a submissive in her relationship with Robin. No wonder I've always felt that they represented me so well.
