From my side I would say that a Dom should always be able to control themselves. There are times when with a sub they consciously choose to ease some of that control to a varying degree based on the situation. It should always be a conscious choice and it's also part of the trust that builds between a dom and a sub. She trusts him to let go of that control, he trusts her to see him without that full control.
So to answer the orignal question, no a Dom shouldn't always be in control, you don't really see who someone is if they're completely self controlled, but the times they release that control and the degree to which it is released need to be carefully considered. |
