I was waiting tables in the early 90s at Bob Evans on Georgesville Rd in Columbus Oh.. I had a man and His wife come in and sit at My table. His red tipped cane told Me He was blind.. As I placed items on the table I told Him this is at this position, this is here.. My directions were good enough that He could eat His entire meal without His wife's assistance. As they left, He told My manager that He was a medically retired former Police Officer that had his service side arm backfire and bling Him in the line of duty. He and His wife BOTH told My manager that they had NEVER had service like Mine in their lives and I deserved praise for going out of My way that way..
