What is versus what aught to be....
There seems to be a dualistic chokehold on morality.The view that human actions can be neatly packaged into two boxes: right and wrong or good and bad.
That we all have to behave in a certain way to be deemed moral.I've always seen religion as a cruel master. Blind faith being rewarded with eternal bliss and outright rejection eternal torment. Of course I rejected this view ever since I was twelve.
In reality the human morality is more gray as i view it. Everything is dependant on circumstances and situations and reducing the human experience down to two options is unnecessarily restrictive..
