Today. 2:20pm EST - 2:50pm EST all carriers will be conducting a test of the EAS system to include 5G bandwidths.

IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WITH A SECRET/SAFETY/BAD SITUATION PHONE. GET WORD TO THEM TO TURN THE PHONE OFF. THIS TEST WILL OVERRIDE SILENT AND VIBRATION MODES. YOUR PHONE WILL SOUND. DO NOT TURN THE PHONE BACK ON UNTIL THEY ARE IN A SAFE PLACE OR SITUATION TO DO SO, AS THE ALERT MAY COME THROUGH ONCE THE PHONE IS POWERED BACK UP!

Random Male(dom male) - Not all of us are in the best situations. And no, this isn't just directed at adults. There are also minors in situations that require clandestine lines to the outside world.

I was a couple years in the situation that I had a secret phone. Domestic Violence. He loved smashing my phones before he would put hands on me. so, I had a secret hidden one. One day there was an AmberAlert and he caught it. That wasn't fun at all ....

Random Male(dom male) - Obviously didn't like this for the situation, but for you sharing and for sharing the real world possible unintended consequences. My big regret is that I didn't put this message out sooner, with a lot more lead time to the event.
