I am such a good guy, and it has been a long time, but my wild, reckless, and lawless days ended in 1984. No more sins, no more drugs, no more alcohol, no more Rock and Roll (well, sort of). Running wild in the streets of a city, I am an angel now and not even a devil in disguise. 

I like wild women, but not too wild. Yes, I am stuck at home anyway. So it doesn't matter what I want, dislike, or don't do.

I have a mind and body that don't know when to give up, quit, or admit I am too old for fun now.

Many times in the last year, I found myself in a situation that didn't seem right, and they were incorrect. My gut feeling was right. I often said, "Let me sleep on that." Then, during the middle of the night, I woke up, tossed and turned, returned to the computer, and discovered I was correct. What did I learn? My intuition was right, but if I failed to obey my senses, I wound up taken in by a nefarious and devious person. 

A nefarious and devious person doesn't like it if you hesitate or especially tell them you need to sleep on it. I should have known better and learned vivid lessons: My gut is almost always right with its warning.

Since I was at a disadvantage being socially isolated in a new place to live, I was easy prey for scammers, con artists, and fraud perpetrators. I have learned my lesson well, yet I know time will tell. When I am in a lonely period, I am quietly desperate for a companion to engage with fully. I have to double my guard.

I am committed to caregiving and accept the condition I find myself in because I love the one I care for despite the cost for me in my personal life.

So, you are in a close relationship, and it doesn't matter what the character is beyond "close" or how you define it. In a disagreement, one of you or both are offended, or one of you violates the other's trust. You seek to resolve this situation amicably and as fast as it is prudent. Will one of you win and one of you lose? No. You both must win, or you both will lose. 

During my long years of relationship experience, I discovered that if I impose my solution because I claim to know best, it will cost me in the long run: the relationship suffers. The only real solution I have discovered is one in which we both win. How that is defined depends on those involved and the conflict. 

Both partners may have to give a little to gain a lot. If I impose my way and it damages the relationship, I lose, too. Have your priorities clear and communication truthful and accurate.

I do not know anyone who doesn't like roses, but I also enjoy the smell of sweet roses: spearmint, roasting coffee, fresh bread baking, honeysuckle, and hyacinths. In spices, I love ginger (it is my all-time favorite) and freshly ground black and white pepper. I also love caraway seeds, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, celery seeds, cumin, and vanilla.  Many fruits are tantalizing. While many people do not think about it, men and women smell differently. I believe in Parallel Universes. As a physics major graduate offered a full scholarship to Princeton University (turned it down) in Astro Physics, I find that the ideas and theories in cosmology are nothing new. The theory of a "Multiverse"¹ is personal for me because the theory hasn't been proven yet, and I am sold on the idea. No, though I love good science fiction, this is not what I am talking about. 

In the fictional versions, numerous permutations play with this concept: 1, Jumping from one universe to another, 2, two or more universes colliding, and 3, visitors from another (or alternate) universe. You may be familiar with these popular TV series, two of my favorites: 2 Sliders and Fringe.

It is my personal experiences that convinced me. I am walking down the familiar street, and suddenly, I blink, and it is just a little different. I am driving my car, and it seems inevitable I am about to be involved in a severe auto accident. I blink my eyes, and I discover I am continuing unscathed. Typical episodes of De Ja Vu or people claiming to know me whom I believe I never met. There are many "Y" sections in life's path: go right or left, and that is the question.
