Don't Step On The Mome Raths

I know our cloaked and veiled existence in the back of the closet makes it a dark place to dwell in, but don't worry. I'll be your rainbow, disco magic firefly. Let's go explore, turn over some rocks, look at bugs, find agates and fossils in the riverbeds and climb up into our tree house to read while the rain makes magic music on the roof. Once we're nice and comfy in that space, maybe you'd try to lock eyes with me to wrestle her from underneath.

You'll definitely enjoy getting to know me. I'm light-hearted, smart, funny, and authentic. We could talk for hours, you and I. Share laughs, have deep, meaningful talks. But her? The right person will want to find her and bring her out. She's the challenge. She's the one who will test you, see what you're made of. She's a tough nut, but there's great reward what does not come easy. Good luck!

I welcome your feedback on my first installment published in my blog. I am interested in gauging the reception here to see if it is worth a fourth, fifth or sixth installment being written, and I posted the first in a hurry. There are edits to be made, both grammatical and punctual, but I'm aware of those matters.

However, I would very much enjoy your honest feedback about the story itself. Kindly, of course.

Respectfully,

dollMaker(dom male) - My advice, is write for you, create for your enjoyment, pleasure, to improve, writing often, helps one improve. If you write for responses, that way lies disappointment, those views at the top of the page but no loves or comments or both. It is what it is.

rainbowbrite(sub female) - Thank you for taking the time to comment, give your advice. My response to your advice comes in a question... What is it that makes you feel like I wrote and published for anything but my own enjoyment and hopefully some enjoyment for my like-minded friends? Opening up the table to criticism was not because I am seeking validation about my work, and therefore about myself. I am my own source of validation. I do not seek from others, digitally or realistically in the face-to-face, a source of significance for which to base my worth on, in any means. My source of significance is much more internal, much more sustainable, and is something of a citadel to locate, if you are not me. Opening up the table to criticism does for me a handful of positive things, the most noteworthy being: 1) If you regard every person that you interact with as if they know something that you do not, you will walk away from those interactions better in some way than you were when you began. If you are closed off from the beginning, you will miss what's being said to you because your ego will block every vulnerability you have and try to protect it with a false sense of superiority. You will become defensive and treat their input as a direct attack against you. You will learn nothing. And you will walk away worse than when you began. 2) If a person criticizes you, and you feel offended or angry in a big way, there is a phenomenally high likelihood that you feel that way because there is truth of some degree in what they have said. If you pull your ego away from that, and hang it out to dry awhile, when you come back you will see it, separate from you, and be able to decide if it's something to acknowledge then destroy or if it was genuinely rubbish to begin with. But the latter is generally the exception, not the rule. I would personally rather be criticized in truth than flattered with a falsehood.

:) Just thought I'd make my intent clear. - | -

dollMaker(dom male) - Indeed, all fair points.

intenseoldman(dom male) - I enjoyed the story. There are different styles and practices in BDSM dynamics and this one of a Master and a slave who enjoy degradation force and nc is well written. I found it interesting how the story began with the slave wanting to cum but shifted its soul focus to Master cumming on his slave without regard to her libidinal desire. Makes sense. Why should a Master care if his slave cums? She's there to serve him and that M/s dynamic is reinforced by her serving his desires and forgetting her own....

rainbowbrite(sub female) - Thank you for your input. While this particular application of these two characters is fictitious, the characters themselves are based on non-fictitious people. It makes the possibility within the story much more real for me, and thus it allows the story to come from a much more organic place than if they were complete works of fiction entirely.
