Rope can control us.
So, too, leather and chains.
Perhaps a cage.
But these control just limbs.
Master the mind. Harness the heart.
Only then is control pure and complete.
Leave the rope; a gesture will do.
Cast aside the chains, just look and she will know.
Control is power.
But precious privilege too.
Use it well, with empathy, love and good intent.
Else it and she will leave you.
