The water was like glass

Like being in another world.

This was, lemmie see . . . Round about 42,  I reckon . . . Maybe 18 and 43, - minds a bit foggy on that. Anyways me an ole buckstop was followin this pak trail - 3-4 days . . . Hes frothin up tired, I's tired . . . Hot as tin on the reds that day . . . Needed ta rest a spell.

I found buck some water in at the bottom of an old gulch . . . Some wheatgrass -  He was sure glad ta be rid of that saddle I tell ya. 

Made a little fire up in that ole cave and et me some fatback,  beans  - then got some shut eye.

never did sleep long spells . . . 

I decided to stretch my legs a bit - poke around that old cave - way in the back - dark as pitch . . . . I went back to my pak and grabbed one of my flares. . . .

I made out a stack of barrels back in a corner. . . Musta been 20 or 30 of um . . . 

Gauldern clumsy feet a mine . . .  tripped on a ledge I didnt see . . .my flare went ta fly'n and wouldn't cha know . . . 

Right smack dab in the middle of that there stack of barrels -  2 seconds was long enough to make out the black all over the ground  . . . I knew . . . 

I sure do hope ole bucky made it outta there  . ... aint no tellin.

I guess maybe animals goes somewhere else, anyway . . . 

Its nice here, - quiet . . . Not much ta do but maybe things'll pick up a bit . . .

When did crying become a sign of weakness?

It is not a sign of weakness - it is passion, it is the human soul. 

When our heart is hurting, we cry - simple as that. 

Parents who hide their tears from their children, deceive them. I walked in the room and caught my mother crying - she immediately composed herself and dried her eyes - "whats wrong mom?" - "nothing honey, im fine" . . . . ??

Its not wrong, its not that you are losing control - it just means you are hurting.

Cry!     Its ok - I will cry with you!

This myth needs to be buried.  Those who have taught crying is a sign of weakness were wrong.

I have been known to be silly, goof off,  etc.

This is a serious question.
