Are you ashamed to crawl to him because your belly hangs and your tits sway? Do you prefer online LDRs because if she sees your small stature in real life she won’t respond to your authority? Do your ribs show so distinctly that you’re always dreading the first comment about eating something so you’ll be healthy?

Too fat. Too short. Too skinny. Too loud. Too smart. Too hairy. Too old. Not enough money. Not enough experience. In a wheelchair. Lost a limb. A basket case with enough luggage to open a store.

Stop. Just stop.

You are you. And whoever that is you are a unique addition to the world. There is no other exactly like you which makes you a rare prize. And in this world, there are those who would give anything to possess that prize.

Be proud of yourself. Love you. Don’t obsess over those who don’t value your brand of awesomeness. But remember to be open and accepting of those who do. If the internet teaches you nothing else it should be clear that there is a Ying to every yang.

It’s not about looking into someone’s eyes in the middle of a storm and them having the power to make it stop.

It’s about being able to look into someone’s eyes and know that their gaze will never waver whether the world is falling apart around you or you’re in the middle of the beach on a sunny day.

It’s about knowing that they can’t stop the tidal waves from coming- but that they’ll do everything they can to help you board up the windows for when they do.

It’s about-facing monsters that you can’t see- that you didn’t even know existed, for someone that’s been facing them alone their whole life.

This is what Love is.

This is what Love should be.

A million little moments where someone stays.

One of these days, the ground will drop out from beneath your feet
One of these days, your heart will stop and play its final beat

One of these days, the clocks will stop and time won't mean a thing
One of these days, their bombs will drop and silence everything

But it's alright, yeah, it's alright, said it's alright

Easy for you to say
Your heart has never been broken
Your pride has never been stolen
Not yet, not yet, one of these days
I bet your heart 'll be broken
I bet your pride 'll be stolen
I'll bet, I'll bet, I'll bet, I'll bet
One of these days, one of these days

One of these days, your eyes will close and pain will disappear
One of these days, you will forget to hope and learn to fear

But it's alright, yeah it's alright, said it's alright

Easy for you to say
Your heart has never been broken
Your pride has never been stolen
Not yet, not yet, one of these days
I bet your heart 'll be broken
I bet your pride 'll be stolen
I'll bet, I'll bet, I'll bet, I'll bet
One of these days, one of these days

But it's alright, yeah it's alright, said it's alright
Yeah, it's alright
Don't say it's alright, don't say it's alright
Don't say it's alright
One of these days your heart will stop and play its final beat

But it's alright, easy for you to say
Your heart has never been broken
Your pride has never been stolen
Not yet, not yet, one of these days
I bet your heart will be broken
I bet your pride will be stolen
I'll bet, I'll bet, I'll bet, I'll bet

One of these days
One of these days
One of these days

In the end, I've come to believe in something I call "The Physics of the Quest." A force in nature governed by laws as real as the laws of gravity. The rule of Quest Physics goes something like this: If you're brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting, which can be anything from your house to bitter, old resentments, and set out on a truth-seeking journey, either externally or internally, and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher and if you are prepared, most of all, to face and forgive some very difficult realities about yourself, then the truth will not be withheld from you.

It's about baring myself before Him; allowing Him to open me up and peer inside without fear of reproach or rejection. Being vulnerable, small, and yes, even weak. All of this and more I bare before Him, body, mind, and spirit. And in the end, He sees me as stronger for it.”

Some days are diamonds,
Some days are rocks.
Some doors are open,
Some roads are blocked.

And sundown's are golden,
Then fade away.
And if I never do nothin',
I'm comin' back some day.

'Cause you got a heart so big it could crush this town.
And I can't hold out forever; even walls fall down.

All around your island
There's a barricade.
It keeps out the danger,
Holds in the pain.

Sometimes you're happy,
And sometimes you cry.
Half of me is ocean,
Half of me is sky.

But you got a heart so big it could crush this town.
And I can't hold out forever; even walls fall down.

And some things are over,
Some things go on.
Part of me you carry,
And part of me is gone.

But you got a heart so big it could crush this town.
And I can't hold out forever; even walls fall down.
You got a heart so big it could crush this town.
And I can't hold out forever; even walls fall down.
