My hope has been shattered
so many times.
every heartbreak, everytime someone
didn’t like me back, yet

hope.
and my brain screams at me to stop hoping
on impossibilities,
on daydreams,
on situations, I should never hope for.
but my heart is wild and it
won’t stop hoping.
