Max Heathen​(other male) - As a Master, it's a negotiation of ongoing contract. For a new slave, I'd advise similar as above... Keep the wording open to possibilities and the options to determine later if what you've learned is best for you & your master.
A More 24/7 TPE slave will desire to please her master, so the Master may buy & pick out what clothes the slave wears. Whereas other Masters may give the slave freedom to chose for themselves. The roll as slave can be while in home only to at all times.
My AngelBunny has her own business so "I permit" her time each day for her profession. While in reality we negotiated the terms for hours of work & rarely permitted on weekends so she doesn't burn herself out, also her request because she would do that very thing. Ultimate the terms benefit both the Master & Slave. Some of what a Master may want can be similar to what the Slave wants (ex: accountability) but in different forms. Bunny need to be told directly, Yes she may or No she can't. Where I need her to ask me to do a goal that I've been procrastinating on. For her it's about authority, while for me it's about focus. I'll happily do things because I was asked by another while I rarely would do it for myself. Silly yeah? lol but it works fantastic for us.
So keep your mind open, keep the options open till you find what works, then make it one of your needs so a Master can determine whether or not they can match with you.

I'mME - Please find a class online or in person about negotiating. There are nuances just like everything in life. As stated by someone else, everything cam be negotiated..h However if you wait, dont be rushed, and dont rush yourself, get to know the person whose hands you plan to put yourself.
Unless kink play on weekends is what you desire . Even then your emotional and physical safety should be first..always.
