About two days later we got to the next client. while talking to him about what we do he mentioned that he was on disability so had some money coming in his problem was that he was having trouble getting access to it. well sir had run into this problem in the past so I got on the sat phone and called Jen to make the arrangements at a bank near where he was living. So the next day we went to town it would be about a 2 or 3 hour walk on horse it took about 45 min the bank was not open. So we stopped and got coffee and danish when the deputy came over and asked what we were doing and were we where staying. So I said having coffee and danish and staying in the forest ( no sense of humor on this one) He got on his high and mighty shoes and in formed us if we did not produce some I.D. he was going to take use in and print us and charge us with failure to identify so I got out my phone and called the sheriff and told him what was happening there is a good thing about sir being out here long enough to make the connections he has when I got off the phone the deputy's face was red with anger and was just about to arrest me when the radio informed him to stop what he was doing and come to the station. He told dispatch he was about to make an arrest the next voice was the sheriff's voice deputy blank you will not do that it is and unlawful detention and will not be tolerated in his office return to the station and come to his office for revue of his procedures. we finished our coffee. When Jen called me she asked me if I had my I.D. on me and told me to just go to the bank sign the papers and cosign and deposit the checks get the card and that should be it. the permanent card will be ready by the time you are done so you can bring it to him then. any future money will be direct deposit so no more problems for him she also is in the process of registering his weapons to our address so he will be permitted to open carry from now on in town. Oh and the sheriff called and wants to know if I want to file a complaint. I told her no but he should be told how to behave in a tourist town.
He took us to dinner and thanked us the next morning when we got back to his camp wolf was still on guard.( in case you are wondering sir told me a long time ago that towns annoy wolf so its best to just order him to guard till you get back)
