I have chronic depression and it is mentally and physically exhausting. You get tired of being tired and wonder how you can keep going. But something in you keeps you moving forward, perhaps it's stubbornness or knowing it would distress those you care about if you gave up. So you keep putting one foot in front of the other until you have that moment you are able to come up for air and you see hope once again.
