Musings from the dragons heart

Thoughts, feelings, musings from the listening thoughtful Floradragon

I saw this whilst out recently and it made me think about people I have spoken with the submissives who have had bad experiences.

In the world today you can get clogged down, choked, held back - in a sea of Doms, this is true for a submissive, but with the right person, the right care and the right support you can both flourish, developing an intensity that leads to a flowering.

"Cornwall is at the end of the road, and port to the world: a beginning and end. We feel rooted by what is ancient around us. There's security, which allows for innocence, and a wisdom with gives strength"Thandie Newton.

"Relationships - of all kinds -are like sand held in your hand. Held loosely with an open hand, the sand remains where it is. The minute you close your hand and squeeze tightly to hold on, the sand trickles through your fingers. You may hold on to some of it, but most will be spilled. A relationship is like that. Held loosely, with respect, trust and honesty for the other person, it is likely to remain intact. But hold too tightly, to possessively; and the relationship slips away and is lost".

I chose this photograph taken this morning on a walk not far from where I live, it made me think of the journey we are all on journey -

The path is never direct, we will have obstacles on the way, we will carry our precious vulnerabilities with us, we will trip, misplace our footing and fall. It's what happens then that makes us - we can let the river of life sweep us away as we grasp for a handhold and a way back to the bank, or we can cling to the and rock climb back up and take the next footstep.

I want it cut and dried.

A clear path set out for me, an easy set of instructions,

a route map I can't misinterpret,

And what would I call it?

The submissive guide to the future?

You are the courier, helping me wit the luggage,

moving me from one hotel to the next,

Taking care of the problems.

Life, one long holiday.

You expect more of me that that Sir.

You show me  a real world of choices,

questions I have to face, decisions to make,

tensions I learn to balance along the road.

And quiet times with you.

But doing this needs a a centre point to give stability and strength.

A starting place, from which the purposes comes.

So one's no use without the other.

Building from firm foundations that is the start.

The hallway of learning,

The pathway of life,

The search of mankind

To find him a wife.

There's grief and the glory,

The laughter, the woe,

There's rosebud and daisy,

There's white mistletoe.

All these are present,

They were also the past,

They will still be the future

They are all made to last.

Taken from Eeyore's little book of gloom:

'First Impression'

"What did you say he was?" he asked

"Tigger"

"Ah!" said Eeyore.

"He's just come," explained Piglet,

"Ah!" said Eeyore again.

He thought for a long time he then said;

"When is he going".

I relate to Eeyore on so many levels sometimes, but this short sentence, if your honest how many times have you had that some thought.

Would I?

If I could.

Could I?

If I should.

Shall I?

If I should.

Oh' dear;

If I should

I could,

And if I could

I would

And if I would

Should I?

Oh' dear.

Many years ago, I came across this worship song written by Brian Doerksen entitled Creation Calls, it this time of great uncertainty I feel the words can give hope for a future. I have changed a couple of words to change a little of the context to reflect today and what we all are going through.

I have felt the wind blow,
Whispering your name
I have seen your tears fall,
When I watch the rain.

How could I say there is no tomorrow?
When all around creation calls!!
A singing bird, a mighty tree,
The vast expanse of open sea

Gazing at a bird in flight,
Soaring through the air.
Lying down beneath the stars,
I feel your presence there.
I love to stand at ocean shore
And feel the thundering breakers roar,
To walk through golden fields of grain
With endless bloom horizons fray.
Listening to a river run,
Watering the Earth.
Fragrance of a rose in bloom,
A newborns cry at birth.

I love to stand at ocean shore
And feel the thundering breakers roar,
To walk through golden fields of grain
With endless bloom horizons fray

I believe,I believe
I believe,I believe
I believe, I believe just like a child

I believe
