50 Shades of Grey. Everything you DON’T want to know about D/s.
The Story of O. Everything you DO want to know about D/s.

Caravaggio(dom male) - Thank you for your comment.I first read O in the first paperback edition - 1972, which I still have. It changed my life. Have you tried Ann Rice? The Sleeping Beauty series, if not, it is worth a look, but not as powerful as Pauline Réage, but interesting?

Bunnie - Thank you for your recommendations, I'm open to any suggestions on books along these lines.

T slave(sub female){Owned} - As exciting as the Anne Rice series and the story of o are, it saddens me that the submissives are always cast away. Thankfully my Master would not ever let me go!

Caravaggio(dom male) - Thank you for your comment. I agree with you. O gives everything and is discarded (something I would not condone with a sub of mine). Her lover and Sir Stephen are weak and unable to match her strength of will. However, Beauty does find herself and is empowered by her experiences, just as submission is a form of empowerment, so Beauty becomes herself through her submission.

Bunnie - T slave do you have any preferred reads that you would recommend?

Caravaggio(dom male) - Well, Justine By The Marquise de Sade, it doesn't begin there but he is important. For absolutely weird Devastation, by DrkFetyNyghts and her other stuff, both off the top of my head.
