I just wanted to introduce myself since I am new to the site. And although I am not new to blogs, I am new at posting on this site. So, I wanted to start with a little about myself so that all of you can get to know me.
I am AphroditesKiss, although everyone calls me AK. My name is unique because I took the time to pick it carefully when I first started out in the lifestyle. I've had this name for over 17 years now. I don't think I will ever change it, even though I continue to evolve and grow within the lifestyle and life.
I first started out by tripping over a BDSM website looking for good porn. Funny, I know, but women enjoy good porn from time to time. Any who, I found my world! Finally, somewhere I fit in, somewhere I don't feel awkward or insane.
The first thing I did, was read everything and anything I could find. I went through blogs, magazines and chat rooms, and asked all those millions of questions newbies do. I always knew I always dominant, but I found I am a Goddess. And because I am and wanted to be addressed as Goddess, I took my time picking a name that fit me best. I researched all the different Goddesses out there in all different histories and cultures. The funny thing is, Aphrodite was my first choice that I came across, and she spoke to me. But because I wanted to be sure I continued my research for two weeks before coming back to Aphrodite. She is the only Goddess I embody completely. She fits my personality and style of domination. So, I tried that as a name, but it was taken. I kinda thought it would be. I decided to add to it. How can it be more like me? I love to bite, but biting isn't something associated with a Goddess. But Kissing is, and biting is a form of kissing. Put them together, and it's ME!
After figuring out my scene name, I dove deep into researching everything I could. I discovered interest in things I never heard of before. I knew I had a sadistic side, but because of my up bringing, I didn't think I could really hurt someone for fun. I searched for mentors. People who do all the things I wanted to try. People who were known for those things. People who would be safe about it! I call this my self training.
For two years I did research and self training before seeking out the public scene. I started with local munches and then headed to the city. This is how my adventures began.
