THE CAGE is an adults-only community, operated by Lavati Ltd. These standards apply to the website at thecage.co and to THE CAGE apps for iOS and Android.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
THE CAGE prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in every form and every area of the service, including profiles, blogs, forums, chat, and private messages. This covers:
- Any image of a person under 18, in any context. Drawings, renders, and AI-generated imagery are treated exactly like photographs where the depiction is sexualised.
- Any written content, including fiction, fantasies, and roleplay, that is sexual and involves anyone under 18, or that could reasonably be read as involving anyone under 18.
- Descriptions of children's bodies, nudity, or sexual behaviour, for any reason.
- Any attempt to contact, groom, or solicit a minor, or to obtain, share, or trade material involving a minor.

Adults only
- All members must be 18 or older. Every account confirms this before anything is shown, on the website and in the apps.
- Members in countries where the law requires age verification complete an 18+ Age Check via Yoti. All members may verify their identity and age via Veriff.
- If we have reason to believe an account holder may be under 18, access to the account is paused until a successful 18+ Age Check. Accounts that do not complete the check are closed.
Reporting
Every profile and every conversation has a Report option, on the website and in the apps. Members can also block any other member, with immediate effect. Reports involving a possible minor are treated as the highest priority and are reviewed ahead of all other reports.
You do not need an account to report a concern. Email support@thecage.co with “Child safety” in the subject line.
How we act
- Uploaded images are checked by automated tools, and flagged content is reviewed by our moderation team.
- Content that breaches these standards is removed immediately, and the accounts involved are subject to immediate action up to and including permanent termination.
- Where required by law, we report child sexual abuse material and child sexual exploitation to the relevant authorities.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests made through proper legal process.
Compliance with the law
THE CAGE complies with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where it operates, including the obligation to report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
