The beauty you bestow is beyond the reach of those who fear to climb higher to a peak that has no end
To be able to submit is much more than just the lust and sex. It’s the bond one endures during this beautiful journey

How can I compare thee? Surrounded by goddesses am I, but not a Penelope to be had! Hera loud and powerful beautiful and majestic, but what growth would there be? No it must be Penelope! Venus thy beauty alters the course of history, and a look brings men to their knees, but after that brief interlude like a flower petal falling from it's bloom. Done gone, and on to another. Where are you my Penelope? Immortal tricks of alchemy and tide attempt to keep me by their side, but without wisdom with out growth it matters not. To be a better man for having known her! To outwit Olympus itself only to be tested upon my return to her. A woman who knows me, and I know her. As I strive to help her become a better woman. I seek a woman who will make me a better man! No goddesses for me! Only

PENELOPE,

An empty hole inside my soul that leaves me feeling greedy
I pack it full of earth and tears
Yet still find myself searching
a gnawing sadness blackens life’s blood
I aspirate on grief
it tastes metallic

The need to relinquish control is beyond your understanding
The will to be obedient burns through your flesh
The desire to please your master is the only saneness thing you live for

Control is beyond the measures I put on you
Obedience is necessary for your guidance

a song in the front yard
BY GWENDOLYN BROOKS

I’ve stayed in the front yard all my life.
I want a peek at the back
Where it’s rough and untended and hungry weed grows.
A girl gets sick of a rose.

I want to go in the back yard now
And maybe down the alley,
To where the charity children play.
I want a good time today.

They do some wonderful things.
They have some wonderful fun.
My mother sneers, but I say it’s fine
How they don’t have to go in at quarter to nine.
My mother, she tells me that Johnnie Mae
Will grow up to be a bad woman.
That George’ll be taken to Jail soon or late
(On account of last winter he sold our back gate).

But I say it’s fine. Honest, I do.
And I’d like to be a bad woman, too,
And wear the brave stockings of night-black lace
And strut down the streets with paint on my face.

Do not go gentle into that good night

Dylan Thomas - 1914-1953

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
