Workouts & General Excercise

Just curious to see how many folks here have a steady regimen of excercise, what kind do you do, and what is your purpose/goal? Also, if Dom, do you enjoy prescribing workouts for your sub, and if sub, do you enjoy prescription workouts from your Dom?

Personally, I do crossfit 4-5x a week with a goal for better music performance (singer/electric guitar player), but lately motivated by the idea of looking awesome in latex dresses, haha. I think it would be just silly hot to have Daddy tell me exactly the type and frequency of excercise he wants me to do *sigh*.

I exercise daily when possible due to my travel and I also practice fasting. I travel with a yoga wheel that I use daily rolling out my back to try to stay flexible because one i need to stay healthy to care for little, two it shows little that Daddy is serious regarding health and she needs to exercise as well and three our scenes can get physical and being 52 now I need to be in shape for the bdsm part of our relationship.

Oooh great question!

I’m just getting back into the swing of things after some rather stressful months...

I’d love to say yoga is my first love, but I think perhaps swimming still wins for me. Water is my “place.” Not only do I love the full body and aerobic workout, it really clears and calms my mind. Yoga is a close second for much the same reasons. I also love the feeling of gaining strength and flexibility from yoga as well.

Next is my running machine. Love the feeling of working up a sweat and getting the heart pumping... and it gives me a butt!

I try to take my parents puppy dogs for a walk every day along the beach. That’s more of a relaxing stroll to get some fresh air and just enjoy the sand and water.

I’m also trying to add in just more general fun fitness activities, like... roller skating, rock climbing, tree climbing... anything really. Just some fun and adventure.

I do a lot of physical work nowadays, so that's enough fitness for me.

But I used to have a lady dom who controlled my exercise. I had to give her a report of how many hours a week I worked out, though she let me choose my own activities. I loved it that she forced me to be healthy, because I doubt I would have been able to do it with my own will power. And I always felt so warm and safe, knowing that she was in charge. I also had to limit the number of alcoholic drinks I had. (Three per week. No hard liquor.) And she laid down the law about when Good Boys go to bed and when we get up. And she even told me how often I was supposed to poop. (Once per day, average. She did give me some leeway there. But I had to file a poop report anyway.) And I could only look at porn half an hour per week total. And NEVER images of men topping women in any way. Only GODDESS porn. And only so I could keep my desire focused and my mind right. And needless to say, NO PENIS RUBBING, and certainly NO SQUIRTIES without her special permission.

I try to go to yoga at least twice a day and walk my dog everyday (but that’s hit or miss depending on the weather and his injury as to whether he’s lame or not that day).

I’m trying to get better about it though!

I was actually playing around with this idea the other day. I have just come into the BDSM community and am having my first experiences as a sub.

I used to work out all the time and haven’t really gotten terribly out of shape but would love to see myself get back to being in better shape.

I am strictly an online sub and I was thinking that having a prescribed workout regimen by a dom w/ or w/o a little play mixed in would be a great way to achieve that. One of the main reasons I stopped working out was career, family, time, and just being bored during workouts. Bored being one of the main factors for dropping it. BDSM being mixed in I think would give me the incentive to workout and make it fun again.

Well, I TRY to work out frequently, my favorite is running, but lifting/body weight exercises are up there too. I haven't been able to for a couple of weeks because I've been sick, and I'm climbing the walls. I WAS going to run another half marathon in the spring, and then aim for a full in the fall, but that's looking kind of up in the air at the moment because of being sick. I should have started the training plan this week, but I can't move without coughing severely. :'(

Personally, I would NOT enjoy it as part of a dom/sub thing. I work out for my own reasons and have my own goals, and I won't have anyone screwing with that. Also, if someone tried to get me to do something I did not enjoy, or did it in a way I didn't enjoy (which may not be apparent), it would potentially ruin the whole activity for me. I have enough issues with being sore or adding pressure on myself, I don't need to add unnecessary pressure from someone else.

I'm recovering form illness but walk every day. Pre illness I never stopped moving, my personal choice was running. I'm ADD I don't sit and prefer to be active.

I have weight trained on a regular basis since I was 26. I think it's absolutely the best thing you can do for yourself to stay young.
I was trying to be a little too manly sometime back and squatting just a few too many plates and got a little wobbly.
It was an "uh oh" moment and I knew I had f***** up. I damaged a disc in my back and now it is real ordeal to work out without hurting myself. I must warm up longer and stretch a lot to keep pressure off the discs or I will not be walking the next day.
A lot of people don't know it, but there are things you can do to help alleviate disc pain without drugs.
I highly recommend the website Athlean X for all things weight training. The guy is just smart. g

I used to be in the gym Mon-Sat for at least an hour. I've stopped for now as my growing baby bump (in the final weeks atm) made it just... too uncomfortable haha. But in almost dying at this point to go back. Never thought I would miss that torture icon_razz.gif

For now I still walk every day, though. Better than just sitting on my butt.

Never thought about giving him a workout regimen... Its definitely an interesting idea. My husband has a way better grasp on exercise than I do though and has a solid routine for himself already. But perhaps asking for a rundown of what he did every night, to see his progress and make sure he's doing his best isnt a bad idea. I think it would help motivate him if I were more involved, honestly. I feel bad not going with him anymore and still prolly not being able to go with him once I do go back, it used to be a help for both of us to have that motivation. Maybe this is a good way to bring that back in for him.
