My heart skips a beat whenever I encounter ANYONE who takes an interest in me. I probably scare people with how enthusiastically I usually respond. They sense desperation and they back away. I don't blame them.
But it happens so seldom to me that I don't really blame myself either. The last time a gay man looked at my butt and gave me a knowing leer was about fifteen years ago. And the last time a nice-looking lady gave me the elevator-eyes and the bedroom smile was about twenty years ago. |

Be authentic, tell the truth and listen.
