Sending stuff abroad.

This might not be appropriate but: Has anyone tried to post stuff to Ghana? Amazon would not send it, then on another site I read that there could be tax to pay and no one could pradict how much. I thought posting stuff, anywhere in the world, was simple but, humm. Any advice gratefully receved.

I'd be willing to bet that it's because of the amount of scams that come out of African countries that they make it hard to send things there. There are even warnings of the infamous 419 scams on the FBI website. I don't know what your situation is, but please be weary and do a lot of research. The people that scam are often very good at it and very convincing.

That being said, shipping is very expensive. Just sending something that is a pound through DHL is nearly $30.

Its expensive to send things abroad no matter where i think i know that sending a small package via FedEx to Canada from the USA is still around a 100 dollars and was told there could still be duties need to be paid .
