What can you handle?

I'm understanding but I'm going to hurt you for your own good without deciding for you. There's something more important at stake. This is about learning. Keeping others safe. Can you be that good? Do you consider enough? Can you control your emotions or do they control you? "Being human" isn't an excuse to not try and improve. Be more. Be better. Don't be like most idiots that let mistakes happen easily. Try, fail, stumble, but it's all a learning experience. I can do it. If you can't then you're struggling. If you REFUSE too then you ALLOW yourself to be WEAK. I point this out not to put people down (I guess I am doing that but there's no getting around it) but to stress that denial (and laziness?) has to be overcome to make progress. A seemingly impossible situation can still be conquered. You just think it can't in your own mind. You have to make the right moves though. Did you consider what they are? Or is it your own failure for not trying to think?
"Let's not consider it because it's stressful." BLAM! Spotlight situation out of nowhere. Were you prepared? Suddenly your whole life gets turned upside down and you suffer through long term depression because you weren't. Don't pretend using your head for a bit beforehand (when you're clear headed) is going to kill you. If you were warned then I show no sympathy or mercy. A bit of short term stress with a higher awareness is a hell of a lot better then not knowing the situation and how to handle it. Do you prefer "Short term stress with a bit of thinking" or "Risking long term depression and being unstable"? Starting to rant. Ending that rant. In order to improve people have to admit their own flaws. And make the effort and try. Take things easy, sure, but don't be a lazy ass with what matters. It's what I had to do. I was once weak too. Incapable. Only in admitting that did I get stronger. But how many people admit that? How many people even CONSIDER that their own perceptions might be wrong before acting like they're in the right without providing solid, concrete proof instead of jumping on the bandwagon? If struggling to admit your own weakness is human nature then I say make me an alien. |
