Hey I was wondering if anyone knows any ways that a dominant partner can show their dominance while still maintaining a mostly vanilla relationship both in private and in public?

Are both parties onboard?

If so, things like eating out. The sub can wait for the Dom to start eating first?
Or if out, the sub subtly asks when they have to go to the bathroom? Maybe a secret signal between them where the sub says something like, "i need to use the restroom" but has to wait till the Dom gives permission, which may just be an agreed on secret signal between the two of them?
Those are kind of individual, sort of depends on the two of your kinks?

Fair enough, I think when it comes to dining out maybe the dominant partner could order for the submissive partner.
